Dean Alton Berens, Sr., age 76, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Polson on October 29, 2013. Dean was born in Woonsocket, SD on December 2, 1936 to William and LaVerle (Danner) Berens. Dean married Ilene Termer and they were happily married for 58 years. Dean loved woodworking, collecting coins, hunting, and fishing. He was also a member of the Eagles. Dean is survived by his wife, Ilene Berens; his sons, Tony Berens and Dean Berens; a daughter, Gale Baker; brothers, John and Alon; and a sister, Dawn all of South Dakota;seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements for the family.
